Head Teacher Message 11: Friday 19th June 2020
What have we managed to do this week?
We have completed our Risk Assessment for the Return to School. We have met as a Governing Body. We have organised the classrooms and outdoor spaces to be compliant with the ‘new normal’. We have a draft of timetables for staff and pupils and I hope to be able to share these with you early next week. We have taken receipt of all the signage required for the school site.
We are waiting on certain updates and final guidance regarding cleaning and catering which will help to finalise the plans.
What will we do next week?
Provide details to each family about which days and times their child / children will return to school. It is likely that the children will have one 4 hour session in school each week. [‘Welly Wednesday’ fro Nursery will be 2 hours].
Produce a video for the children showing them how school ‘looks’; what their classroom looks like and how they will come into and leave school.
Answer any final questions you have.
If you would like additional activities or support of any kind, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss what you would like / need. If we can’t help, we will find someone who can!!
Enjoy the weekend, stay safe,
With love, Vicky JD xx
